The Amazon Kindle Scribe is a large e-reader that doubles up as an electronic notepad, and while it won't be for everyone, those who will make use of writing on it will love the experience.

The most affordable Kindle is Amazon's most basic option in terms of features but it still reads very well. Light and compact, it'll slip right into your bag allowing you to take a whole library of reading material wherever you go.

Kindle's first reading and writing tablet is a strong start from Amazon, but still has room to improve its usefulness. With more pen and notebook styles, and better third party service integration, it could be a killer device.
